Description
This shoe is a great alternative to the NETBURNER PROFESSIONAL with the same running shoe under foot for quick propulsion at the forefoot flex areas while still maintaning midfoot to rearfoot stability.
This shoe boasts GEL technology for shock absorption when reaching for the net. It comes equipped with GEL technology in the forefoot and rearfoot, as well as an AHARPLUS outsole for improved traction and even better durability.
The NETBURNER ACADEMY 9 shoe is fitted with a SpEVA foam midsole which improves rebound by 20%. This supports performance by transferring energy absorbed from impact with the ground to the next step, keeping you light on your feet. A removable EVA sockliner helps control moisture, absorbing any excess sweat, while the DURATEX insole adds an extra layer of comfort.
Ahar Outsole
Acronym for ASICS High Abrasion Rubber. ASICS High Abrasion Rubber is used in heavy wear areas to extend the life of the shoe.
Gel – Rearfoot And Forefoot
Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.
Removable Sockliner
An EVA or SpEVA sockliner moulded to the shape of the foot, which can be removed to accommodate a medical orthotic.
Spevafoam Midsole Top Layer
Improves bounce-back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown.
Trusstic
Moulded compound under midfoot area. Provides a controlled and contoured midsole while improving arch support and torsion stability.
Width: B standard – STANDARD
